The purpose of this position is to assist in the research and development of materials for contact lens formulations. The position will be focused on lens formulation preparations, fabricate lenses, conduct cure studies and analytical testing, and data analysis. These activities are important to the development of new materials for contact lenses. The position will also focus on quality design control documentation, external partner contract management, and managing project budget.

Minimum education required for competent performance:
Undergraduate bachelor degree in Science (Chemistry, Engineering, or Biology) or 3+ years working in Science (academia or industry).
Minimum experience (number of month/years and type of work experience beyondformal education) required for competent performance:
3 years working in Science (academia or industry)
Volume or unit measure of job duties: (List the volume of those duties which are repetitive in nature. For example, 75 customer phone calls per day, 20 boxes packed per day, etc.)
