Shift Hours: 40 hour work week
Writing samples/portfolio preferred with the submission of résumé


Job Purpose:

  • Helps instill corporate brand through written content creation for internal and external marketing communications, including print, video and social media
  • Writing focus will be primarily on short and longer projects where parameters may be open-ended at the outset.
  • This role will partner with internal clientele, project manager, creative director and SME (video, multimedia, and design) staff.
Qualifications:
  • Includes discovery and copy writing for brand communications, public affairs, business writing, business editing
  • Proofreading skills and knowledge of style guides a plus
  • Possesses excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills and confidence to present and explain ideas
  • Ability to understand and work within a corporate branding structure
  • Ability to work effectively and collaborate in a team environment, working with creative directors to produce brand marketing materials that address internal clients' goals and business objectives
  • Responsible for taking assignments from initial concept to production finish
  • Contributes to multiple projects simultaneously and meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • 5-10 years work experience Messaging platforms · Brochures · Fact sheets · Video scripts · Web pages · Web news articles 
  • Social media posts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube
  • Event presentations/speeches · E-newsletters · Internal campaign theme lines/concepts
  • Award submissions Expertise: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Journalism, Public Relations, or BA/BS in English preferred
