Job Description

Responsible for business analysis activities in accordance with client systems development methodology and supporting projects within a specific portfolio area -- new Customer Portal for World Courier. This individual will work independently as well as with other Portfolio associates to deliver small scale projects as part of the deliverables for the larger Customer Portal (CP2.0) project. 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: 

• Responsible for collecting, documenting, and confirming business requirements and functional specifications. 
• Works in close collaboration with business partners and developers to ensure consistent understanding of business processes and requirements. 
• Defines, develops, and delivers test plans and associated test case scenarios. 
• Establishes effective relationships with other ABC, World Courier, and GeekHive IT departments; builds and maintains effective business partner relationships. 
• Assists with tasks and deliverables related to System Development Life Cycle phases in an Agile environment. 
• Attends and participates in project meetings and team updates to expand knowledge, as a participant and not in a lead capacity. 
• Facilitates user story meetings. 
• Investigates and documents project issues and detailed requirements. 
• Frequently interacts with staff including business area management, portfolio managers, vendors, consultants, and other contractors. 
• Potential for travel up to 10 percent of the time.

• Knowledge of content management solutions is preferential, as is previous experience working on customer-facing (B2B) products. 
• Knowledge of JIRA or similar software enabling the application development lifecycle is preferred. Knowledge of MS Office Suite and Outlook required.
